2 Easy DIY Auto Repair Before and After

1. Protecting Your Roof Rack

Whether you're preparing for a big move, taking the kayaks out on the lake, or just want to go on a casual bike ride, keeping your roof rack in tip-top shape is important. Flex Seal Spray is here to seal and protect from future damage and weathering.

To properly apply Flex Seal Spray:

1. Start with a clean dry surface free of such things as grease, oil, dirt and algae.

2. Shake the can vigorously and spray in short bursts, using an even sweeping motion.

3. Spray a larger area than area where the leak is and feather the edges.

4. Continue to shake the can periodically to ensure contents remain properly mixed.

5. Apply in multiple thin even coats allowing each coat to dry before adding the next.

2. Undercarriage Under the Weather

The undercarriage of our cars goes through a lot. Whether it's getting waterboarded by big puddles, getting scratched from debris kicking up on a rocky road, or maybe mom just jumped one too many curbs. Flex Seal Spray is here to help defend and fill in any cracks and holes. Shake well and be sure to apply in an even sweeping motion.

These projects can be completed over the course of a week, a month, or even a year. The Flex Seal Family of Products is perfect for projects all around the house and of course your boat and auto repairs too. Rest easy knowing your work is done, and as always, we encourage you to stay inspired and see what else Flex Seal can do for you.
